What about "fleeing in a panic"? |
Home The Most Powerful Approaches to Healing

All the authorities say that panic is never dangerous. But what about "fleeing in a panic"? Couldn't that be dangerous? When one reacts to panic by fleeing, it’s possible to engage in risky behavior. But there is an essential distinction to make here. The panic attack itself is not dangerous. No sensation, thought or feeling connected with a panic attack is dangerous. Actions, whatever the motivation, can be dangerous. Actions that we take in response to panic, anger, jealousy or thrill-seeking can be risky.
